I am at the Podium right now, waiting for Misyel to arrive. I am on leave from work today and tomorrow but I need to still meet my monitoring target for both days. This is better, though. I would be able to work and at the same time I could still spend time with friends.
My day didn't have a good start. Sam almost didn't make to the Church for her 1st Holy Communion

After my mom came out of the shower, my sister went in because she had a class at 10 o'clock. I already told Miguel to take a bath once my sister comes out from the bathroom, but he was still doing something when she came out so he was not able to take a shower right away. It was my turn after after Miguel took a bath.
When I came out from the bathroom, going to my room, I noticed that there was just silence in the house. I checked the garage and didn't see the truck there. To my surprise, I found out that they had already left because Sam might not make it to the Church on time. The sad part about it is that no one even gave me instructions on what to do after they left. I texted my mom to ask what I must do. She said my sister was going to bring the truck back home and I should just follow them to the Church.
I did as I was intructed. I waited for my sister to come back home. HaH!!! Another surprise ... the left rear tire was flat. I don't know how long and far she let the vehicle run with a flat tire. Good thing my Poppa has a compressor in the garage. He and I put air in the tire (after he scolded me ... whew!). When I got in the truck, I saw that the gasoline guage shows that I'm already running low on gas. Argh! But God's so good ... He let me get to the nearest gasoline station to fill the tank up. Hmmm ... when I got to the Church I had a difficult time looking for a spot for me to park the truck, but I eventually found one. Whew!!!
That not where the story ends ...
On the way back home, my mom said that she wouldn't be able to catch the shuttle that would take her to Ortigas. Well, I knew right away that she was INDIRECTLY telling me that she wants me to take her to work. But, I thought that was fine. Besides, that's just a little favor I can do for her. Then when we got home, my Pops asked me to bring his computer tower to my Mom's office because my cousin was going to pick it up from there to fix it.
I was able to chat with Ricky (YaY!) and was able to share the some photos with him but we had to do it real quickly cause I still had to eat before we left the house. That was just a few minutes but that's better than not being able to chat at all.
When we got to my mom's office building, the rain poured hard and left me with no other choice but to take the truck to the open parking lot of The Podium. That just means that I will have to pay a big parking fee since it looks like I'll be staying here for quite a while to finish my work. If it didn't rain then I could've just left the truck at the condo and walked to get her.
At the parking lot, I saw a car leaving; I turned the flasher on to let the driver of the approaching car know that I am already going to take the place of the car that was moving out. BUT NO ... he just had to really "steal" the space from me! Grrrr ...
But I eventually found a place to park the truck. I wasn't really in a hurry cause it was still raining hard anyway and I didn't have an umbrella. When I got here at The Podium, I thought to myself, "HaH! It's about time I got lucky!" I was able to find an unoccupied table outside that was by the wall that has a power outlet. I still had a hour left on the laptop's battery so I thought it was just fine. When I already needed to plug the adapter in to the wall outlet, I found out that neither of the outlets was working! Dang!!! At that time, Misyel had not arrived yet. I had to wait for another 15 minutes before she arrived. We weren't able to transfer upstairs yet since all the table here during that time were all occupied.
I am okay now. Misyel and I found two table here on the 2nd level of Starbucks and we're busy with our own businesses. Hee Hee! Oh Man!!! What a day!!! Now I already have to get back to work!
